Before I flutter near the sea or my shimmering shell pool, I always make sure a grown-up fairy is with me. When the waves are big or the pool is deep, I pop on my floaty rings and listen carefully until a grown-up says, “Wait” or “Come closer.” Those words are tiny magic spells that keep me safe.
